I decided to try going to Gillian after I was unhappy with my previous esthetician, and I’m so happy I found her!! Gillian has such a warm welcoming personality that made me feel like she was a long lost BFF. Not only are her prices reasonable but she also has the magic touch with her massage! Gillian is fabulous! I came for my first facial and I can’t wait to return! Her studio is spotless, warm and cozy (I didn’t want to get up). I have dry, sensitive skin and I’m allergic to many things. Gillian took all of this into consideration and made sure to look into all ingredients being placed on my face. I’ve felt like I’ve known her for years, she is so sweet. She answered all of my questions and recommended products I should use. My face was so soft and hydrated afterwards. My skin is acne prone and wearing masks this year has wrecked havoc. I have a dermatologist but needed a boost from a facial. Enter Gillian! She was highly recommended to me and I see why she is well liked.

The short: Gillian is phenomenal for your skin care needs. After my appointment my skin finally felt hydrated without feeling oily. The next day my skin felt SO soft. Today’s the third day and my skin still feels good but I’m already dying to go back.

The long:
I’ve only had two facials before. One expensive one that was amazing and one at Hand and Stone which was awful. Gillian was more affordable than both and her skills were on par with the expensive one!

Gillian worked on my skin for at least an hour, but I think it was more like an hour and twenty minutes. It flew by though and I had no idea until I got home. In addition to the facial Gillian provided a wonderful shoulder/upper back massage while the face mask was on. It felt heavenly after shoveling and moving. Chatting with Gillian felt like taking to a friend. She also had calming music and eucalyptus essential oils during the facial which was very enjoyable.

Shortly after the appointment Gillian sent me some recommended skin care products that would work for my skin. Her recommendations are highly appreciated and I am going to start using them between appointments with her.

First I was greeted with a warm and friendly introduction. The room was very clean, warm and cozy. Gillian was very thorough and I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my facial. Gillian knows what she’s doing!!! The results are insane, I’ve always struggled with dry skin and milia. I have had the pleasure of Gillian doing my make up for multiple occasions from engagement pictures to baby shower. Wow! Gill gave me a fantastic facial with microdermabrasion and my skin is glowing! The ambiance and care she puts into her work create a phenomenal overall experience. Today I went for my first facial with Gillian. I have had a number of facials but I have never had such an amazing experience as I did today. Gillian took her time and explained each step of the facial. I am anxious to do derma planning but she answered any questions and concerns I had along the way. My first facial and it was honestly such an amazing experience. Gillian told me about the products she used on my face and let me know what they do. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process and boosted me up by complimenting my skin lol. Honestly, there’s so much to say and of course they’re all good things but i’ll start by saying that Gillian was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Legit, the moment I arrived, she was so sweet and welcoming! First- I was offered lemon water and welcomed to unwind and change at my own pace. She was more than willing to sit down with me to listen to all the many questions and concerns I had regarding my skin and the products I use. My appointment was only a few minutes in but instantly I felt comfortable, accepted and genuinely cared for. Finally, my spa treatment began and that’s no exaggeration. The entire room was extremely clean, sanitary, peaceful and professionally arranged. She was incredibly attentive to my wants/needs and diligently created a customized facial just for me then executed it perfectly. Without a doubt, it was the best hour of my life. She only uses the safest, purest, most effective products and does such a gentle but still thorough job of applying them. From the facial, to the guided breathing meditation portion to the neck massage.... I was truly pampered. Although I still have problematic skin, I saw a drastic change the next day. My facial was done a month ago and is still soft, supple and healing more each day. & on top of that, she checks in with you days later to see how you’re feeling and how your skins reacting. If that’s not real care, I don’t know what is but I’m beyond thankful for her understanding, expertise and time so much so that i’m proud to say that I will never go anywhere else ! I realize though, these are just words and the only way to know is to experience it for yourself, so please do so. You won’t be disappointed and even that is an understatement. I met Gillian about five years ago when she was first starting her makeup career. I went to get my makeup done for my 21st birthday, and the from the minute I sat in her chair until the last, she made me feel so beautiful. Gillian is more than an Esthetician and makeup artist. You will get the best therapy session of your life. Gillian makes you feel like a friend, and absolutely doesn’t judge anything you say. I have super complicated, discolored, dry skin, and every time she does my makeup, she does some type of magic and leaves me pore less and clear of any type of imperfection. I’m now 25 and she will be traveling to New Hampshire to do my makeup for my wedding this summer. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my face. She is THAT good. Gillian is phenomenal with every treatment she provides! Her space is the perfect place to find your zen. I have never felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after getting pampered. I'm going to be real with y'all I'm probably the pickiest client anyone could have, BUT she absolutely exceeded my expectations. Gill customized my facial that was personalized to my skin's needs. It was a full face mask (eyelids and lips included) which was totally optional, I guess some people prefer facials without, to each their own. She used the hydrajelly mask on me. I told Gill about my problematic skin and told her what my skin lacked and what I thought was flawed basically a whole week before my appointment. I didn't expect her to know or remember, but she observed my face the day of and took care of everything. The Hydrajelly mask helps with uneven texture, reduces large pores, hyperpigmentation and dark spots. The next day I went to work and my co-workers all asked what I had gotten done to my face because it was GLOWING! Being that I don't get facials done daily, weekly or even monthly for that matter, I didn’t expect to see results from just one facial treatment. I was overwhelmed at how much my skin IMPROVED!!! My uneven textured skin was practically completely even! The size of my pores reduced and all the acne scars I had from pimples that lingered from forever ago, faded. I loved that she made sure that I was comfortable with what was being applied to my face. I like that she doesn't just do basic facials, she does microdermabrasion, dermaplaning and other luxurious facial enhancements. I'll be honest, the first time I treated with Gill, I was afraid that she would de-fuzz my face (obviously to perfect my skin) but that meant probably more maintenance for me. Anyways, I remember vividly making it a mental note to mention that I didn’t want that done and I was so tired that day that I didn't remember to say anything, BUT Gill was the most ATTENTIVE esthetician I have ever had the pleasure of getting a facial done with. She asked me exactly what I wanted and I instantly felt COMFORTABLE. I knew for sure that I didn't have to baby her(we've all done it before, especially when getting our nails done) There's nothing more annoying then getting something done and it not being what you asked. You absolutely can lay back, RELAX and enjoy your treatment with her without a worry. She talked me through everything she was doing as she did it, so no uncomfortable surprises. I had only gone to her solely for a facial, but Gill MASSAGED me while my hydrajelly mask set in and worked its magic. And OMG....she had hands of a goddess. I was able to clear my mind. Her massages are firm and gentle at the same time. It's hard to explain, you'll just have to go see it for yourself. Trust me, I've gotten massages done before, but nothing comparable to THAT. The work she has done on me has been 100% EFFECTIVE. Stephanie stamped and approved for sure. After my facial, she gave me a complimentary alcohol wipe to clean down my phone so I wouldn't accidentally touch that and then my face. GENIUS. One of my main concerns about getting facials done is how my skin will behave after. It's been almost two weeks. I have acne prone skin and I did not break out once. I recommend anyone and everyone to go to her. she has a caring and bubbly personality that will calm and reassure you. She made it that much more ENJOYABLE for me. I felt BRAND NEW both physically and mentally. I won't be going anywhere else for awhile. I'm looking forward to getting an EYELASH LIFT done with her next! -Stephanie Barros
